WHT Amer Med Cabinet

The quality of this cabinet is unbelievable for the price. Was looking for a wood medicine cabinet and was shocked at the high prices. This cabinet is solid wood and did not have to be put together like some other cabinets. It is as nice as $250 cabinet from Pottery Barn. I love the old-fashioned lock also. The shipping price was high, but it is very heavy. Even with the shipping, the price was great for the quality of the item. Great buy!!!

I bought two of these at Home Depot and I must say, it's a nice little cabinet for a great price. The crown molding at the top is sharp and you can fit a decent amount of items in it. They come with two pre-drilled holes in the top of the unit, which is pretty silly. You should always get at least one hanging screw in a stud, and use a heavy-duty anchor with the other mounting screw. There's little to no chance you're going to get a stud lined up with one of their holes and have the cabinet where you want it. It's really a not so smart design.

My biggest complaint with the product, however, is Zenith's QC. The first cabinet's door hinge didn't match up level with the latch. The door closes just fine, but it doesn't look all that wonderful; not a deal breaker though. The second cabinet, however, had many defects in the front mirror. I purchased this cabinet from the seller Wayfair. The cabinet arrived in what looked like decent condition, but when it was mounted, I noticed the joint in the frame at the bottom left corner of the mirror had a small gap. I didn't worry much about it -- this is a greatly reduced price as compared to some place like Restoration Hardware -- so I was going to live with it. Then the door split from the cabinet at that joint leaving the cabinet on the wall and the mirror and three sides of it's frame in my hand. Fortunately, the glass (there are two mirrors inside, front to back) didn't come sliding out and shatter causing injury. Upon inspection, I noticed that the four sides of the frame, particle board, are glued together and reinforced with dowels at the joints. The dowels at the bottom left corner were missing.
