This product generally produces bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours. For soaking for minor sprains and bruises. INGREDIENTS:Magnesium Sulfate U.S.P. DIRECTIONS:FOR EXTERNAL USE AS A SOAKING AID FOR MINOR SPRAINS AND BRUISES: Dissolve 2 cupfuls of Epsom Salt per gallon of water. Apply in conjunction with bandages or toweling. Use with warm water for best results. Dissolve the following oral doses in glass (8 ounces) of water: Adults and children 12 years and older - 2 to 4 level teaspoonfuls (8 to 16 grams). Children 6 to 12 years - 1 to 2 level teaspoonfuls (4 to 8 grams). NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 6. Repeat in 6 hours if needed. Limit 2 doses per day. Lemon juice may be added to improve taste. Follow above directions only or as directed by a physician. Most effective when taken on an empty stomach.
