This mirror is ok for my needs and it looks good. Its real oak, not veneer. I would have given it a higher star rating but although the oak frame is sanded and stained ok, I don't like that you can see a thin line top, bottom, and both sides on the face of the frame. Must be they used 4 separate pieces of oak to assembly it. I know they have to use every damn scrap of wood these days but for the price they should have used just 2 in my opinion.The metal part is white and is of good quality.
